"The mex Transmission is an amazing development and brings a new and concret advancement in the research of performance for the racing teams and drivers.
I had the chance to fit my racing kart with this transmission for the first time in Zuera, WSK in April 2013.
I won 0.14"/lap in comparison with my 428 type transmission, and get the pole position too...
Since, I never gave it back to mex and asked my sponsors if one of them can purchase the complete mex sprocket and chains range for me for my next races!
Through the mex works on the designing of the parts for the reduction of the weight and the friction, and their motivation and experience to increase the performance on different elements, the kartsport has not finished to get forward thanks to them..." Information regarding the "High Polishing" Option

Extra fine (15µ) Diamond Polishing from the Teeth profile of the sprocket. Reduce the coefficient of friction between the chain rolls and the sprocket from ~ 50%.

Advantages : improvement of the engine power due to less friction, less heat development and improvement of the sliding speed. The Light ULF engine sprocket with High Polishing option obtain almost the same performance as the EXLi ULF engine sprocket on dyno.
